The Feldenkrais Method

I am currently training to become a certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. I’m continually inspired by the transformative potential of this method. It’s about more than just movement, it’s about discovering new possibilities for how we live and interact with the world around us. The principles of the Feldenkrais Method have become a guiding influence in everything I do.

The Feldenkrais Method is a powerful approach to movement and body awareness that focuses on improving how you move through gentle, mindful exercises. Developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, this method helps you explore new ways of moving that are more efficient, comfortable, and in harmony with your body’s natural patterns.

At its core, the Feldenkrais Method is about learning to move with greater ease and reducing unnecessary tension. Through guided, slow movements, you gain a deeper understanding of how your body works, leading to improved posture, flexibility, and overall well-being. It’s a practice that not only addresses physical challenges but also enhances mental and emotional resilience by fostering a deeper connection between mind and body.
