“When we emerge from our offices, rooms and houses, we enter our natural element. We are children of the earth: people to whom the outdoors is home. Nothing can separate us from the vigour and vibrancy of this inheritance.”

John Odonohue

Ethos

As much as my work is focused on quality movement and empowering people, at its heart it is also about honouring nature. I consider myself to be in service to nature and I continuously seek ways to weave quality human movement into our connection with our natural environment. I am seeking to explore and share movement in our natural home, in a way that is in harmony with, and beneficial to the environment, and nourishes us as humans.

Environmental Commitments

As of October 2024

Forest Fitness Movement Pledge

1% for the Planet. With this pledge I am supporting the Westcountry Rivers Trust. Their vision is to see all Westcountry rivers and freshwater environments flowing freely and teeming with life, for all who depend on them.

From this small start, my goal is to increase incrementally by a further 1% as and when my work allows.

Forest Fitness Active Nutrition pledge

Roots of the Earth was born from the vision of linking ancestral cultures from different territories across the globe. They are a global non-profit organization who are dedicated to preserving and spreading the native knowledge of ancestral traditions through the KIVA and other ceremonies, fostering connections between indigenous worldviews and modern societies.

Forest Fitness Active Nutrition will start by giving 1% of profits to the organisation.

Collaboration

I am always seeking ways to collaborate with organisations who work to improve the health of our earth and water. In addition to my pledges, I seek to do more specific days in collaboration with local trusts. If you are a member of a local environmental organisation and would like to collaborate with Forest Fitness, please get in touch!
